In the grand tradition of Creative Loafing digital editors quitting to move to California, current Digital Editor Ezra Morris will be following in the footsteps of the last two gents who held the position and heading west at the end of the month. So: Creative Loafing is hiring a Digital Editor. The primary responsibilities of CL’s digital editor include social media, publishing online content, and conceptualizing and building special digital projects such as our recently launched Atlanta City Guide. NOW HIRING: DIGITAL EDITOR

Creative Loafing Atlanta, the 42-year-old award-winning alt-weekly that shares a home with OutKast and the world’s busiest airport, has an immediate opening for a Digital Editor.

The Digital Editor is responsible for assisting the editor in chief in implementing, analyzing, and improving the online strategy for Creative Loafing Atlanta, which includes development of cover packages; building and advising on the presentation of special sections; daily online publishing including graphics, audio, and video media for web delivery; helping maintain the content management system and database; evaluating website performance; adhering to tight deadlines and project schedules; and interacting with audiences in real time on various social platforms.
