Call for artists: Submit your work to Ladyfest Atlanta

Submissions are now open for Ladyfest Atlanta 2016.

?
? <!———StartFragment———>In March, Ladyfest Atlanta came roaring onto the city’s radar, empowering messages of female-identifying and gender non-comforming artists. The organization plans to hold its second incarnation next year from May 16-21. Organizers Chelsea Dunn and Nina Dolgin say the emphasis of 2016’s DIY art and music fest is on the broad field of public health. Specifically, they say the festival will be focusing on how public health relates to environmental justice, decriminalization of HIV/AIDS, and reproductive justice and body autonomy. Folks are strongly encouraged to submit works based around this theme in the areas of performance art and theater, music, film, visual art, literature, and comedy.
