Soon a chunk of the North Avenue stretch en route to Masquerade will get a makeover. An ordinance by Councilmember Kwanza Hall authorized the installation of “Circles,” a public art by Atlanta-based design collective The Loss Prevention on the north facing wall of 755 North Avenue. The ordinance was passed without objection.

The Loss Prevention group is responsible for a slew of projects — local and not — including the Sweet Auburn mural of civil rights leader Evelyn Gibson Lowery (above, as part of its Hero Series), signage at Ford Fry’s BeetleCat, and public works for Adult Swim, among other efforts.
