1. President Barack Obama beat Gov. Mitt Romney in yesterday's election. In his victory speech, he told supporters in Chicago that "the best is yet to come." While we're not 100 percent sure, he may have been referring to this.

2. On the local front: both amendments passed, both incumbent public service commissioners won, and most of the other races went as expected. Check out the results here, and catch up with our play-by-play coverage from both the GOP and Democratic parties.

3. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell not only watched Sunday night's Falcons game when he visited Atlanta, but he also attended meetings with Gov. Nathan Deal and Mayor Kasim Reed.

4. If the Georgia Aquarium has its way, they could import up to 18 more Beluga whales from Russia — adding to their measly total of four at the moment. Currently, there are only 31 located in the U.S.
