2. Betcha didn’t think they could do it: A bipartisan Congressional panel comes up with a deal to extend a payroll tax reduction and unemployment benefits, while preventing Medicare cuts. Even so, some House Republicans say they’ll vote no just to stay in practice.
3. Greece teeters on the brink of revolution, economic collapse and dangerously high cholesterol as it negotiates with Eurozone leaders for another bailout package. Take two drachmae and call us next millenium.
