Atlanta Hawks players Pero Antic and Thabo Sefolosha early this morning were taken into custody for allegedly attempting to stop police officers from setting up a crime scene after an attack on Indianapolis Pacers player Chris Copeland and his wife.

In North Charleston, S.C., police officer Michael Slager was charged with the murder of African-American U.S. Coast Guard veteran Walter Scott. Slager, who is white, fired eight times at the back of Scott while as he turned his back and run away. The incident was captured on video.
