The unnecessary brouhaha seen in other states over transgender people using restrooms appears to have arrived in Georgia. More than 300 people last week packed a Fannin County school cafeteria to make wild claims and offensive statements about transgender students using bathrooms that match their gender identity. 

A pilot from Augusta died after the stunt plane he was flying on Sunday during an airshow at Peachtree-DeKalb Airport crashed.
