1. Baton Bob, Atlanta's most flamboyant street character and unofficial grand marshall in the parade of life, says he was physically threatened and called a "damn faggot" earlier this week while strutting on Cheshire Bridge Road. This is not acceptable.

2. More than half the local governments who will receive nearly $1 billion over 10 years from the regional transportation tax have not determined how they'll spend the cash. (Atlanta officials have decided how they'll spend half the local portion for the next five years.)
