Omnivore - What would Bjork eat?
So, I was driving around, listening to Bjork’s latest, Volta, which has some really beautiful moments, including guest performances by the androgynous, angel-voiced Antony, among many others.
I was hungry. “What would Bjork eat?” I wondered.
I remembered what the singer won’t eat in her native Iceland: “They pee on a shark and then dig it into the earth for a few months, then they get it out and the ammonia has preserved it. I’m more into the fresh stuff,” she told a Brit magazine.
But then I remembered that Bjork made one of my fave food-related videos of all time, “Venus as a Boy.” Check it out:
So, I went straight to the Silver Skillet for scrambled eggs and country ham.
