Omnivore - Crowds on Edgewood Avenue

Where to park

Image

Image We headed to Edgewood Avenue for dinner Saturday night. After fruitlessly hunting a parking spot on the street that is now lined with parking meters, we ended up parking on the meter-free street that is parallel to Edgewood on the southern side.

We first walked by Noni’s and found it incredibly packed, with a band setting up. We decided to keep moving and landed a block away at Pizzeria Vesuvius. It was humming too, but no so crowded we couldn’t get a table.

We both ordered Caesar salads and split a large pizza, half Margherita for me and half chicken Alfredo for Wayne. Great flavors and nice to see the (huge) place attracting a crowd.
