Hall’s of Fine Wine, located in Inman Park, announced this week that they will be closing at the end of the month. Owner John Hall will focus on his other business, Buckhead Wine Storage. Hall will partner with Murphy’s in Virginia-Highland to continue to offer favorite wines as well as put on wine events and also plans to work with Inman Park restaurants like Parish and Park’s Edge to host wine dinners. Wines at Hall’s are 20% off though closing day, January 29.
Longtime Bluepointe executive chef Doug Turbush announced yesterday that he'll be leaving his position there to open his own venture some time in 2011. This is the second Buckhead Life veteran to leave the company in the past few months, with Buckhead Diner chef Joey Riley departing to open Kaleidoscope.
Pico Autentico officially opened yesterday in the former Relish space in Historic Roswell. The spot serves fresh Mexican cuisine in a family-friendly setting. Pico Autentico is a part of The Condiment Group, the same ownership that was behind Relish and also operates The Fickle Pickle and All Y'alls Wine & Gourmet Market.
