Taqueria del Sol is featuring one of my favorite tacos, the al pastor, at lunch and dinner this week. Buttermilk fried chicken is the blue plate special. But you want the taco. In case you haven't heard, TDS is a 2011 James Beard Award nominee for "outstanding restaurateur." So much for the pain caused by the Taco Nazi! (Cakes & Ale has also garnered two nominations.)....

Goin' Coastal, the terrific seafood restaurant in Virginia-Highland, will be open Saturday and Sunday for lunch, starting this week. Expect some new dishes, like gator tacos and po' boys. The restaurant will open at 11 a.m. and remain open until 11 p.m. both days.
