Omnivore - Gravy Train: Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand opening, Farmstand revamped

Plus two new foodie tours at Chinatown Mall and the Sweet Auburn Curb Market

A revamped version of The Local Farmstand is now open at Star Provisions, selling seedlings from local farms, seeds, organic soil and other supplies for the home gardening gourmand. You’ll also find a selection of in season produce, farm fresh eggs and other Georgia goodness.

Thrillist reports that Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand in East Atlanta will open sometime next week, and their Facebook page indicates that it will be Monday. The small shop, founded by Delia Champion, the founder of the Flying Biscuit and Molly Gunn, owner of the Porter Beer Bar, is a to-go operation serving up chicken sausage in the form of slingers and sliders. Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand will be open Sunday - Thursday from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.

P’cheen will be opening for lunch every Saturday & Sunday at noon, beginning Saturday, March 19th. P’cheen is currently only open for dinner. In addition to the special weekend lunch menu, which includes a variety of specialty sandwiches along with the pizza du jour and their signature fish and chips, P’cheen will have a 50 cent oysters on Sundays. If you’re a fan of their Monday night BBQ, you’ll be happy to hear that it returns starting on March 21.

J-Bones BBQ, a culinary and catering group that operates Gravity Pub and also serves up food at the Spring 4th Complex, will be opening a new namesake location in Austell next week. The vast menu includes classic BBQ dishes alongside southern entrees and beefy burgers.
