Ron Eyester (better known as The Angry Chef) opened his new neighborhood joint, The Family Dog, yesterday in Morningside. The restaurant and bar is named from the infamous San Francisco music cooperative. The new spot is directly across from Eyester’s current kitchen, Rosebud, and will have a slightly more casual vibe.

Hill Street Tavern, located in the Pencil Factory Lofts (with recently opened neighbor The Beignet Connection), is hiring and says they will be opening VERY soon.
Der Biergarten has added a dog-friendly patio, so next time you head there for some wieners, bring the dog. German Shepherds encouraged, but not required!__
