Omnivore - Dropping like flies in Decatur: Rail closes, Cakes & Ale’s last night in current location
Three downtown Decatur spots close their doors this week - two will reopen, one will not.

After Sunday’s news that Watershed would be moving to an undisclosed, non-Decatur location, it must be comforting to Decaturites that Cakes & Ale is moving just up the street to a spot on Decatur Square. But in the meantime, Bill Addison tweets that this Saturday will be the last evening of service for the current location of Cakes. And yesterday, Terri Rogers announced in an email that she would be closing Rail in the old Decatur train depot, which she originally opened as Farmstead 303. Her other restaurant, Feast, will remain open.
