Another workout sabotaged. On my way home from the gym today, a voice in my head summoned me to Jake’s Ice Cream at the Irwin Street Market. My mission was to have a scoop or two of my favorite summertime ice cream - Jake’s honey-fig.
Unfortunately, it isn’t available yet. I was heartbroken, so I had to settle for a cone stuffed with limoncello-mascarpone and plantain-ginger. As long as such alternatives are available, I can wait.
