Omnivore - The best suicidal food of 2011

The Daily Meal catalogs the horrors

Image The Daily Meal has posted its 2011 lists of dining superlatives. Well, the list of “Over-the-Top Fast Foods” might not exactly feature superlatives, unless you value repulsive-tasting and astronomically calorific crap. Even if you revile it, you have to look at it.

Standouts are Pizza Hut’s Big Dinner Box with 5,000 calories. Go ahead and share it with someone you love and you’ll only ingest 2,500 calories. Or get super-slim by eating KFC’s 680-calorie garbage bowl of mashed potatoes, corn, Popcorn Chicken, gravy, and cheese, plus bacon. Dunkin’ Donuts has come up with a breakfast treat with more fat — 20 grams — than the average donut. You get three balls of pancake dough encasing sausage links. The list goes on.

There are also lists of “Best Dishes We Ate in 2011” and the “Top 25 Food Trends,” which I posted about earlier.
