Omnivore - Lunch at Eclipse, a new dinner club, scary news about Wong's ramen

Good lunch, news from two chefs

Image Lunch today was at Eclipse di Luna. I ordered this special of fried shrimp that actually tasted like shrimp on ciabatta with papas bravas. A super bargain at less than $10 and quite comparable to a certain shrimp po' boy that's a favorite of Atlanta foodies....

If you want to try the insanely good ramen noodles that Guy Wong has been preparing at Miso Izakaya after 10 p.m., you better hurry. The $10 bowls are labor-intensive, to say the least, and may soon be history. I urged Wong to increase the price rather than discontinue the special. But the end is nigh. So hurry, get there soon...like during the coming week....

From the very talented Hopeton Hibbert:
