Get thee to Cardamom Hill today. Chef/owner Asha Gomez has begun preparing biryanis every Friday instead of the thalis she serves the rest of the week.
As with the thalis, you have a choice of meats or a vegetarian option. Biryanis are popular throughout the Middle East and Southeast Asia, as well as India. It will be interesting to see how one from India’s Kerala province, Gomez’s home, differs from the usual around town.
