Yumbii and Café at Pharr’s joint pop-up restaurant is scheduled to open Wed., June 6 in Atlantic Station and will continue through Sun., Aug 5. The menu will feature a selection of each eatery’s most popular dishes complemented by a full bar.

“We are always seeking new opportunities,” said Yumbii owner Carson Young, “the pop-up concept is a natural fit. We’re also excited to partner with longtime friend Johnny Liu and blend our menu with their hometown favorite menu items.”

The pop-up concept is going into the former Grape space across from the AMC Regal movie theater and LA Fitness in Atlantic Station. According to a press release:

Local artist Julio Ceballos transformed the space to echo Yumbii’s “funky” style and repainted the classic white walls with Yumbii and Café at Pharr’s signature colors - bright green and orange. Guests will enjoy a variety of music styles as they dine either al fresco on the spacious outdoor patio or in the vibrant dining room. The pop-up will add a technological advantage to its customer order process as servers utilize the ISISPOS system on iPads.

Guests can also expect daily stand-up comedy from the former Relapse Theatre group along with open-mic nights. Food will be available before each show only, however, booze (as it should be) will be served throughout.

UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the opening has been pushed back from Sat., June 2 to Wed., June 6.
