BLT Steak Atlanta Mon., Sept. 10-16, 5:30 p.m. Venison Week at BLT Steak Atlanta. Chef Cyrille Holota will offer a special menu, available prix fixe or a la carte, featuring different ways of serving and preparing venison. Details.

STATS Sat., Sept. 15, 11 a.m. STATS College Football Fever. With five designated game zones, STATS is the only restaurant in the city to show five different games with sound at the same time every single Saturday. East Atlanta Village Sat., Sept. 15, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. East Atlanta Strut 2012. The 15th annual East Atlanta Strut features five stages of music, comedy, artists market, the Strut Parade, kids village, carnival stalls, community booths, food and beverages. Details.

Gwinnett Center Sat., Sept. 15-16, 10 a.m. JapanFest. JapanFest will feature a variety of musical performances sure to suit all ages and interests, including taiko drumming, J-Rock and J-Pop, and classical music. JapanFest will also feature a variety of exciting workshops on various aspects of Japanese culture. Details.

Midtown Sat., Sept. 15, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Taste of the Trucks Festival. Food trucks from all over Georgia will offer their unique and diverse gourmet dishes. Accompanied by live music, various activities, and arts and craft vendors, Taste of the Trucks will have something to offer for foodies and families alike. A part of the proceeds from the event will go to Children's Restoration Network, which aids homeless children in Georgia. Details.
