Atlanta Botanical Garden Fri., Oct. 12, 6:30 p.m. Oktoberfest Inspired Dinner with Meehan’s Public House. On October 12th from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., executive chef Jordan Wakefield of Meehan’s Public House will craft four dishes each paired with an Oktoberfest Beer. Fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden will balance the richness of the pork in each course. For $49 for members and $54 for non-members, guests will enjoy samplings of chef Jordan’s Beer Braised Homemade Sausage, Pork Osso Bucco and French Toast with Applewood Bacon Ice Cream. Details

The selections are from Olé Imports, an importer know for unique, terroir-driven wines: Naveran Brut Vintage Cava - Papa Ladera Sagrada - Cortijo Tinto David Sampedro Dacu Bodegas Emeritas - Nabucco Señorío de Barahonda.
