Oh. My. God. I just reported the end of $3 slider night at the Shed. But it turns out that Bantam + Biddy is stepping in to fill the gap on Mondays, beginning April 1. No, this is not an April Fool's joke.
It makes sense, of course. Lance Gummere, B+B owner-chef, was formerly the Shed's executive chef and was responsible for the mind-boggling variety of sliders there for three years.
Here's the announcement I received:
Every Monday from 5 to 9 p.m., Bantam + Biddy features the chef's selection of sliders with a new menu each week.
Sliders available on April 1 include: chicken fried steak with country gravy, fried green tomatoes with goat cheese, fried catfish with lemon aioli, pork schnitzel with pear jam, and house smoked pork BBQ.
The restaurant is also offering drink specials including 7-ounce Miller High Life bottles for $1 and beer punches for $3.
