After working out a few “kinks,” the Korean-Southern diner reopens tonight

Sobban, the new Korean-Southern diner at 1788 Clairmont Road in Decatur, opened for lunch yesterday. After the restaurant’s POS system went down, owners Jiyeon Lee and Cody Taylor decided to close for dinner last night and lunch today. But, it seems, those technical kinks have been worked out. A call to the restaurant confirmed that Sobban will open at 5 p.m. for dinner tonight and proceed with dinner service only for the rest of the week. If all goes well, Sobban will resume full lunch/dinner hours and menu next week starting on Tuesday.

The newest venture from the minds that brought you Heirloom Market BBQ, Sobban offers dishes such as housemade dumplings, pickled lotus root salad, sweet chili salt-and-pepper shrimp, and more. The diner will feature a late-night menu from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
