Omnivore - Get your fill of ‘Atlanta Eats’ on TV and radio

Each week, hosts Steak Shapiro and Mara Davis highlight Atlanta restaurants and chefs.

Atlanta Eats continues to get bigger and better. Every week, hosts Steak Shapiro and Mara Davis highlight restaurants and chefs that make Atlanta great. You can catch the show on Saturdays and Sundays on Peachtree TV at 10:30 a.m. Here’s a recent clip from a segment on Kevin Gillespie’s Gunshow:

The show was recently added a radio after show starring Davis. She says:
“Thirty minutes is not enough time to debate who has Atlanta’s best pizza, burger or mexican food. I could go on - - and we do! Atlanta Eats radio is on every Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on 640 WGST and podcasts of the show are on atlantaeats.com/radio. We interview local chefs, bloggers, food purveyors and any celebrity that wants to come on and talk about food. And who doesn’t want to talk about food? Recent guests have been Ina Garten, Colin Quinn, Kevin Rathbun and Old 4th Distillery. Upcoming guests Hugh Acheson, John Besh and Allen Salken who wrote “From Scratch, Inside The Food Network”.

It’s a fun show to listen to. Atlanta magazine restaurant critic and food editor Bill Addison was on last week and I will be on the radio show this Saturday talking with Mara about Creative Loafing’s 2013 Food Issue and more. Don’t forget to tune in.
