Watershed on Peachtree Tues., Oct. 29, 5:30 p.m. Prison Break Launch Party Wine Tasting Enjoy the release of the 2012 Prisoner wine and other wines paired with bites from chef Joe Truex, live entertainment from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and a chance to win Prisoner wine to take home. Barrington Hall Tues., Oct. 29, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Fall in New England Cooking Class Roswell chef John Wilson will impart knowledge of new dishes inspired by New England and the fall season. The Cook's Warehouse Midtown Wed., Oct. 30, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Knife Skills 101 Learn how to properly use a knife on your food and not your hands. This class will teach students the differences between certain knives, knife maintenance, and how to choose a cutting board. Students will enjoy a light dinner from the chopped items in class. Preserving Place Wed., Oct. 30, 7 p.m. Introduction to Dehydration Students will learn the best foods to dry, how to dry them, and the equipment needed for dehydration. Participants will learn how to avoid the most common problems with drying foods and later sample some locally dehydrated foods. Details

RA Sushi Thurs., Oct. 31, 7 p.m. Boo Bash 2013 Celebrate Halloween with seasonal food, drinks, and a special guest DJ. Compete in the costume contest for a gift card to RA Sushi. Details
