This class will teach students the differences between certain knives, knife maintenance, and how to choose a cutting board. Students will enjoy a light dinner from the chopped items in class. Preserving Place Wed., Oct. 30, 7 p.m. Introduction to Dehydration Students will learn the best foods to dry, how to dry them, and the equipment needed for dehydration. Participants will learn how to avoid the most common problems with drying foods and later sample some locally dehydrated foods. Details

RA Sushi Thurs., Oct. 31, 7 p.m. Boo Bash 2013 Celebrate Halloween with seasonal food, drinks, and a special guest DJ. Compete in the costume contest for a gift card to RA Sushi. Details
