This Saturday and Sunday, viewers will have a chance to glimpse Mayor Kasim Reed’s inner foodie in action as he co-hosts “Atlanta Eats” with Steak Shapiro. Mayor Reed will join Shapiro on a journey down the BeltLine while describing his favorite foods and restaurants around the city, explain why he believes Atlanta’s food scene is “top five in the United States,” and “number one in the Southeast,” and hear his take on the forthcoming Ponce City Market development in Old Fourth Ward.
“This episode is a great opportunity for folks to see our Mayor in a unique light,” Shapiro said in a press release. “I think he had a great time hosting the show and it really comes through for the viewer.”
The show, which recently entered its third season, airs on Peachtree TV every Saturday and Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
