Buckhead businessman Charles Loudermilk is planning to open a restaurant at the storied Buckhead Theatre (3110 Roswell Road) in 2014. Located upstairs and accessible from a Roswell Road entrance, it is slated to serve generous portions of affordable “Southern comfort food with a splash of new American barbeque,” the theater’s manager, Anthony Antar, told the Atlanta Business Chronicle. This news comes on the heels of the 2,000-square-foot, full-service kitchen that opened there in September. Its executive chef, Buckhead Life Restaurant Group alum Greg Sears, will also oversee the currently unnamed eatery. Details as they arise.

The owners of Mediterranean cafe, Truva plan to open a new concept, CUTs Steakhouse, today at 25 Andrew Young International Blvd., Tomorrow’s News Today reports. The logo suggests that the concept will be decidedly more contemporary than its rival eateries.
