Krog Street Market (KSM) developer Paces Properties announced two new food-related tenants bound for the new mixed-use complex today: Spice Road Chicken and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. A third business, Inman Park Pet Works, was also announced. KSM, Inman Park’s forthcoming collection of restaurants, market stalls, and retail stores built inside of a renovated 1920s warehouse, is currently slated to open late July 2014.

Spice Road Chicken
Cardamom Hill’s chef Asha Gomez is developing a market stall featuring fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, and a variety of signature sides. Gomez hopes Spice Road will be a convenient spot to pick up a quick weekday dinner to-go, as well as a stage to showcase her popular Kerala spiced fried chicken.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams
Jeni Britton Bauer, founder of the Ohio-based ice cream company and the Westside Provisions District’s newest scoop shop, will be creating ice creams, sorbets, and frozen yogurts made from scratch using mindfully sourced ingredients from around the world. Jeni’s flavors range from funky seasonal varieties made with whole fruits and vegetables, to the traditional chocolate and vanilla.

In related news, the second outpost of Sarah O’Brien’s Little Tart Bake Shop, which joined KSM’s lineup 2013, is now bringing Octane’s coffee with it, too. The bakery has added a 200 square-foot expansion to include a full-service coffee bar offering espresso, cortados, lattes, and more. According to the release, Little Tart will be “the only place in the market to get an espresso drink.”
