Omnivore - Whole Foods is on Instacart in Atlanta now
News from the grocery delivery world
A quick update on Instacart, the San Francisco-based grocery delivery service that launched in Atlanta at the end of June:
Initially partnering with Kroger and Costco exclusively, Instacart announced Wednesday that its inventory has expanded to include groceries from Whole Foods.
"Whole Foods Market has been a great store for our deliveries in other cities, and it has been a very popular request among our customers," said Atlanta City Launcher Matt O'Connor in a release.
Instacart's delivery area has grown since June, too, and now includes Smyrna, Vinings, Cabbagetown, Reynoldstown, Sandy Springs, and Dunwoody, as well as parts of East Atlanta. (Here's a map.)
