The Cook’s Warehouse - Midtown Fri., June 5, 6:30-9:30 p.m.; Sat.-Sun., June 6-7, 1-5 p.m. Three-Day Cooking Boot Camp Do you burn boiled water? Chef Joanne will teach you intensive and broad techniques for cooking proteins, deboning chicken, and cutting up produce. She’ll also show you how to use the right pots, pans, knives, and spatulas to get the job done. By the end of the third class, you’ll have worked your way through eight menus featuring dishes like pan fried breaded tilapia, grilled marinated beef kabobs, and deep fried granny smith apple fritters. STK June 5-30 Glazed and Confused STK is offering boozy donut creations throughout the month of June to celebrate National Donut Day. Guests can inject a Drunkin’ Donut with one of three flavors — Cocoa Bomb (vanilla lemon custard and hazelnut liquor), Fruity Rebel (cereal custard and raspberry liquor), and Not Your Daddy’s Donut (cherry bourbon custard and orange liquor). Ponce City Market Sat., June 6, 7-11:30 p.m. Wonder Farm WonderFarm will have an evening in honor of benefiting WonderRoot and Community City Market. Join co-chairs Lucinda Bunnen and Janisse Ray to celebrate and support local art and local food with a seated dinner prepared by some of the South’s most notable celebrity chefs, including Sean Brock, Hector Santiago and Todd Richards. Dine amidst interactive art installations, bid in a silent auction, and peruse artwork curated by Hambidge Center fellow Kevin Byrd, and the Goat Farm Arts Center coordinator Allie Bashuk. Details.

John Howell Park Sat., June 6, 10 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sun., June 7, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Virginia-Highland Summerfest This neighborhood event includes all the festival staples: food vendors, live music, and a juried artist market. There will also be a 5K Run/Walk for those more active attendees — or just philanthropic ones. Proceeds from the run will go toward neighborhood projects, park improvements, landscaping, public libraries and more. There will also be a Tot Trot, plenty of food, and libations for those who so desire.

Georgia Railroad Freight Depot Sat.-Sun., June 6-7, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Summer ICE OK, the ICE stands for Indie Craft Experience, and this Atlanta gem is among the best craft markets around. Tailored for those who heart when Pinterest and Etsy go IRL (in real life), this event features more than 100 craft and vintage vendors. And, to celebrate turning 10, ICE has moved further into the city to a new location. So, it’s getting kind of crafty indeed!

Serpas Sat., June 6, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Annual Crawfish Boil Serpas executive chef Scott Serpas will lead the restaurant’s annual crawfish boil. The crawfish boil will include all-you-can-eat crawfish with corn and potatoes, chicken and andouille jambalaya, potato salad and Georgia strawberry cake. Each ticket includes two drinks: Abita beer or a specialty cocktail. Ticket sales will end 48 hours before the event. Details.

North Highland Park Sun., June 7, 7-11 a.m. Summerfest Celebration Ride Honors Warren Bruno The third annual Summerfest Celebration Ride will honor the former owner of Atkins Park Restaurant and Bar and Ormsby’s, Warren Bruno. Bike riders of all ages and skill levels will have the option of a 9.5-mile or 20-mile loop. Tour leaders will guide each group from North Highland Park through Atlanta neighborhoods before arriving at Atkins Park for brunch. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society via the Atkins Park Cycling Team. Additional donations are welcome. Pre-registration is required. Details.

The Artmore Hotel Sun., June 7, 2-5 p.m. Twisted Strawberry Soiree The brunch-style soiree is an entertaining approach to bringing awareness to the impact of cancer on families and communities. Special guest speakers, survivors, entertainers, and guests dressed in pink and white will engage one another in “Table Talk Series” and obtain knowledge and skills necessary to charge up for the cause and motivated. Center for Civic Innovation Sun., June 7, 3-6 p.m. Bringing Hemp Home The Georgia Hemp Revival Organization is hosting Atlanta’s Hemp History Week event: Bringing Hemp Home. The event will highlight the various ways hemp can be used at an industrial level for things such as food, textiles, and plastics. The documentary “Brining It Home” will be screened. There will be live music, and hemp-based food and drinks will be provided. A $10 donation is suggested to help cover event costs. Details.

Variety Playhouse Sun., June 7, 5-7 p.m. Good Gracious Show: Foodie Fun Atlanta’s Good Gracious is back for its fifth show, featuring a night of music, food, laughs, and more. Folks you’ll see on stage are singer-songwriter Doria Roberts, chef Asha Gomez, Dad’s Garage improv, Mr. Blue Sky, Kodac Harrison, mixologist Miles Macquarrie, Takenobu, Capt.
