Food 101 Mon. June 29-July 12 Wimbledon Southern Style Food 101 is celebrating Wimbledon with classic tournament foods and drinks with a Southern twist. Chef Justin Keith is offering up a brunch of Wimbledon favorites, including strawberries and cream, cucumber sandwiches, lox, and Cornish pastries. Guests can sip on a Pimm’s Cup or champagne while tuning into a match on the restaurant’s televisions. Specials will be available during matches shown at Food 101. Details.

Whole Foods Market Mon., June 29, 2-3 p.m. Meals with Berries Come learn about berries and some of the delicious, healthful dishes made from them. You’ll discuss berry nutrients and recent research on their impact on health! Plus, sample dishes that may include dinner, breakfast, or dessert with berries. RSVP required. Details.

All proceeds go to The Learning Tea’s Life Scholarship Program supporting education for impoverished women in Darjeeling, India. Details.

Joystick Gamebar Tues. June 30, noon-2 p.m. Chef Joey Zelinka Presents Babcia’s Pierogi For this pop-up, chef Joey Zelinka is serving up beloved Polish dumplings. Every Monday through Thursday, guests can get as many or as few traditional, oxtail and potato, and seasonal vegetable pierogi as they can handle with their choice of sauce. Just walk up to Joystick’s back door from noon-2 p.m. and ring Babcia’s Big Bell. Babcia’s will have an ever-changning menu to keep things fresh. Details.

Watershed on Peachtree Tues., June 30, 6:30 p.m. Sans Liege Winemaker Dinner Save the date for an intimate dinner with winemaker Curt Schalchlin of Sans Liege Wines. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., guests will enjoy Sans Liege’s Rose wine paired with hors d’ oeuvres and engage with Executive Chef Zeb Stevenson as he shares his inspiration behind crafting the ultimate blend of cuisine and wine. At 7:00 p.m. attendees will indulge in a special 4- course dinner. As with all of Watershed’s winemaker dinners, guests will have the opportunity to order bottles of the wines served following the dinner. Details.

The Cook’s Warehouse - Decatur Tues., June 30, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Cooking with Beer Chef Christy will show you how to use all kinds of beer, from lager and porter to ale and stout, to add flavor and deep characteristics to everyday meals.You’ll discover the types of beer and flavors that compliment your favorite dishes and find new favorite pairings. Dishes you’ll make include wassail, Welsh rarebit, a lager shrimp boil, and drunken chicken with onion dressing. Details.

The Cook’s Warehouse - Midtown Tues., June 30, 7-9 p.m. A Louisiana-Inspired Fourth of July Chef Will will walk you through how to make a true Fourth of July menu! Spice up your celebration with down home Southern stuffed brisket, finger licking’ BBQ ribs, dirty rice, and white chocolate bread pudding. Details.

Shake Shack Thurs.-Sun., July 2-5 Celebrate the Fourth Shack Style Celebrate 4th of July weekend in true Shack-style! From Thurs., July 2 through Sun., July 5, guests can enjoy Shack corn dogs, Vienna all-beef dogs dipped in corn batter and served with sweet corn relish, and blueberry pie Oh My Concretes, frozen vanilla custard blended with Shack-made blueberry pie, starting at just $4.50. Shake Shack will also be serving up its seasonal peach lemonade to add to the celebration. Details.

Friday

The Family Dog Fri.-Sun., July 3-5, 4 p.m.-2 a.m., 3 p.m.-2 a.m., 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Toast the Grateful Dead The Grateful Dead’s four surviving members are reuniting at Chicago’s Soldier Field July 4th weekend to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary and to perform together one last time. To celebrate chef Ron Eyester’s favorite band, the restaurant will live-broadcast the Chicago shows for all Atlanta “Dead Heads” to experience. Grateful Dead cover and is also hosting a Grateful Dead cover band The Charlie Fog Band will perform on Friday night. Details.

Second Self Beer Company Fri., July 3, 4-8 p.m. Beerly Legal Join Second Self in celebrating the new changes under SB63, which allows breweries and brew pubs the legal ability to package and directly sell their product. Pine Street Market’s Rusty Bowers will grill barbecue and pork belly sliders, and, for the first time, Second Self will be selling tours with tastings and six-pack souvenirs at the brewery. Guests can also purchase growlers of limited release flavor debuting that week, Xmas in July — a summer-spiced Belgian double. Details.

Saturday

Ration & Dram Sat., July 4, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. July 4th Celebration Ration & Dram will offer a special grilled menu for the 4th of July. Menu items will include house-smoked andouille dogs and seitan dogs (for vegetarians). Austell’s Patak Bohemian Meats will provide hot dogs and boerewors — a South African sausage. Cocktail and beer specials and lawn games will round out the celebration. Details.
