Georgia Aquarium Fri., May 20, 7 p.m. Sips Under The Sea: Fiesta Leave the kids at home and head out with friends, family, or bae and start summer early with a Spanish and Latin-inspired adults-only night at the aquarium. Enjoy access to the aquarium’s exhibits without the hustle and bustle of normal business hours. Check out salsa demonstrations, unwind to live music, or simply take in the aquarium’s after-hours ambience. Signature cocktails and small plates will be on hand to round out the evening. Details

The Gifted Ferret Fri., May 20, 8-10 p.m. Gourmet Chocolate Truffle & Wine Pairing In this Wine Pairing Event, taste a total of four wines. Each wine being served will be paired with savory chocolate bites and select handmade grand gourmet truffles. Wine and chocolate dates back to the Romans, join the fun! Details

Buckhead Club Fri., May 20, 6 p.m. An Evening with Le Cirque Pop-Up Dinner Attendees will get the opportunity to meet Le Cirque’s new chef, Massimo Bebber, dine and visit with members of the Maccioni family, which opened the original Le Cirque in New York, and enjoy Le Cirque’s timeless French cuisine while experiencing the iconic wines of Feudi del Pisciotto, Italian Fashion Designers. This event benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with $40 of the ticket pricing being donated. Details

Brownwood Park Sat., May 21, 1-5 p.m. East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival Sample more than 200 craft beers at the 13th annual beer festival, held on the north end of Brownwood Park. In addition to the brews, enjoy live local music at the main stage and eats from local food vendors. VIP ticket holders get in an hour early and can access VIP-only bathrooms. Everyone goes home with a 2016 EABF souvenir tasting glass, and all proceeds go back into the neighborhood through the East Atlanta Foundation, a volunteer-run organization that promotes EAV to the metro community and raises money for local groups. Lure Sat., May 21, 1-3 p.m. “South by Northwest” Patio Party Lure will be hosting a patio party to kick-off Salmon Week, featuring flavors of the northwestern United States. Guests will enjoy a spread of the finest salmon and sides, as well as wine and beer from the northwest. Details

The Blind Pig Sat., May 21, 7 p.m.-2 a.m. The Gatsby Party Benefitting Leukemia & Lymphoma Society The Blind Pig Parlour Bar, Buckhead’s favorite speakeasy, is pulling out all the stops to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) with a spectacular “Great Gatsby”-themed night of food, drinks, and entertainment. Festivities include a five-course dinner followed by a can’t-miss party. Details

Historic Fourth Ward Park Sun., May 22, 1-4 p.m. Picnic in the Park Some of Atlanta’s most notable chefs have teamed up with Wholesome Wave Georgia to celebrate efforts to make healthy and local foods accessible to people throughout the state. Couples and individuals can purchase picnic baskets full of goodies curated and prepared by chefs Drew Belline (No. 246), Terry Koval (Wreckingbar Brewpub), Todd Ginsberg (The General Muir), and Steven Satterfield (Miller Union). Lay out a soft blanket and sip on beer or wine, play games in the park, and dance along to live music while supporting Wholesome Wave’s mission of doubling federal SNAP benefits and increasing access to produce from sustainable local farmers. Bosch Experience Center at Serenbe Sun., May 22, 2-3:30 p.m. The Essentials of Cooking with Chef Jonathan Kallini: Fish The Essentials of Cooking Fish You will be guided through the essentials by Chef Jonathan Kallini, Chef de Cuisine of Bacchanalia, a James Beard Award winning restaurant in Atlanta. Each participant will take home a menu with recipes from the class. Details

Maya Steaks and Seafood Sun., May 22, 2-6 p.m. One-Year Anniversary Paella Party MAYA Steaks and Seafood is inviting food lovers to join them for giant paella party to celebrate their one year anniversary. SoHo Sun., May 22, 5:30-9:30 p.m. All-American Lobster Boil The All-American Lobster Boil at SOHO. For $30, each guest receives Maine lobster (1.5 lbs.), Andouille sausage, corn on the cob, red bliss potatoes and a market salad.
