The Cook's Warehouse - Decatur Thurs., June 23, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Knife Skills 101 A good chef is nothing without a good knife — and solid knife technique. Get the scoop on how to slice, dice, and julienne like a pro. Learn how to choose the right knife for the task at hand and the best tips for keeping knives sharp and fresh for the long haul. The class even covers which cutting boards work best for the job. Don’t worry about picking the perfect knife to show off in class; those will be provided. Once the lesson is over, students will enjoy a light dinner made with their freshly chopped items. Details


Alliance Francaise d'Atlanta Fri., June 24, 6-9:30 p.m. La Vie en Rosé Alliance Française d'Atlanta presents their first-ever Rosé tasting dedicated exclusively to rosé wine and champagne, from France. Come to a sensorial experience of delicious rosé, delectable eats, and lively entertainment. Details


Argosy Sun., June 26, 6 p.m.-midnight. Wild Bunch 2 Support local restaurants while enjoying delicious tacos and drinks with this year’s Wild Bunch benefit. Admission comes with five food and drink tickets, but fear not: Extra tickets are $5 a pop, in case you need to try one of everything. The evening will feature several local chefs and mixologists, including Ryan Smith (Staplehouse), David Bies (Ticonderoga Club), Shanna Mayo (AMER), and Philip Frobos (Argosy). Local breweries like Creature Comforts, Wild Heaven, Orpheus Brewing, and more will help wash everything down. All proceeds go to the Giving Kitchen, a nonprofit that assists hospitality workers in crisis. Details
