This round of Atlanta Beer Tours focuses on those nearby businesses in a Decatur Dash edition, spending the afternoon exploring three of the area’s top breweries: Wild Heaven, Three Taverns, and Blue Tarp. Beginning at Wild Heaven, walk to each location to enjoy private tours of the facilities and samples of their countless, award-winning creations. Tickets include each tour, 14 beer tastings, a souvenir gift, and snacks for the evening. Spend the night tasting brews and enjoying the community atmosphere these local breweries have to offer. Red Hare Brewing Company Sat., July 9, 2-6 p.m. Fifth Annual Luau and Pig Roast Dropping everything for a tropical Hawaiian getaway may not be possible this summer, but with a little help from Red Hare Brewing Company (and your imagination), you can still bask in island vibes — at least for a night. Back for a fifth year, Red Hare’s annual luau and pig roast is a festive excuse to bust out those Hawaiian shirts and hula skirts. Entry includes 36 ounces of beer samples (including some special tropical-themed brews), a souvenir glass, and a fair share of roasted pig. There will also be live reggae rock from Rhythm Earth to enjoy, and luau-goers will leave with a six-pack of Red Hares’s grapefruit IPA, SPF 50/50, to drink at home. Details
