Don’t be scared to cut up clothes from the thrift store. Make a granny dress super short or cut the neck and sleeves off a T-shirt or top. If you mess it up, you only spent a few dollars on it anyway, right?
What’s your favorite vintage/thrift piece?
Right now, these leather shorts I’m wearing! Also, this vintage bracelet from Thailand circa 1920 that my boyfriend bought me for my birthday.

What is your style philosophy?
Simplicity. I hate clutter! You don’t have to wear your whole closet to show who you are!
How has Atlanta influenced your personal style?
I’m definitely influenced by my life in ATL. My friends, the music scene, strangers on the street. I take it all in.
What do you like about wearing vintage clothes?
I love the hunt! I love the feeling of accomplishment when I find that needle in a haystack! It’s kind of an obsession for me.
What single article of clothing could you not live without?
Black boots. They go with everything! I have had this one pair for eight years, and I’ve probably had them resoled 10 times. Also, I know this isn’t clothing, but red lipstick is a staple. Anyone who knows me knows it’s my thing!
