Good job, Internet: Those snarky youngsters at CollegeHumor have produced a fairly ingenious animated satire of Dr. Seuss’s famed Oh, The Places You’ll Go! I feel obliged to point out that the original picturebook (the last book published before the death of Dr. Seuss, a.k.a. Theodore Geisel) isn’t as rosy as the spoof suggests: the plucky little protagonist spends time alone, lingers in The Waiting Place and gets stuck in a Slump. By the end, the book promises “Will you succeed? Yes, you will indeed. (98 3/4% guaranteed.)” So don’t forget about that last one and a quarter percent.
