Wicket: The Musical

Dad’s Garage Theatre - 569 Ezzard St. Atlanta, GA. 30312. Pay-what-you-can. 8 p.m.

There are two sides to every story and thanks to Dad’s Garage, the Ewoks from the Star Wars film get a chance to tell theirs. The cute and cuddly bear-like creatures made their first appearance in Return of the Jedi and have since become a hotly contested topic among die-hard fans. Some say they are a necessary plot device, while others argue they’re just a marketing ploy. Regardless, their side of the story will add a new dimension to the popular series and maybe spark a change of heart in the anti-Ewok community. The Garage promises audience members will never be able to look at the creatures the same, thanks to some scandalous secrets paired with music, dance and, of course, lots of humor.
