In staying true to their self-proclaimed mission to “make rock ‘n’ roll fun again,” the Buzzards of Fuzz come as they are. Ben Davidow’s rumbling guitar riffs and sweltering slides and Van Bassman’s thick crooning vocals come straight out of stoner rock and blaze right into the desert. The Atlanta-based four-piece has been flying high since the arrival of 2015’s Buzzard Custard EP. The next release, another EP, is set to show up this July. In the meantime, the Buzzards of Fuzz share the stage with Louisville-based garage punk outfit White Reaper when the group comes through town supporting The World’s Best American Band.
