Fourth Ward Skate Park Sep. 8, 2017, 7-11 p.m. Old Fourth Ward Beer Fest In benefit of the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, the first annual Old Fourth Ward Beer Fest will be a fundraising event held within the weekend-long Old Fourth Ward Fall Fest. The event will have over 75 beers and a selection of wine and cider alongside live music and food vendors. Details

Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead Sep. 8, 2017 6-10 p.m. Art’s Big Southern Barbecue Before we officially tuck our pool floats deep into the attic, celebrity chef Art Smith is giving A-town one last summer blowout. The second annual Art’s Big Southern Barbecue will feature a sunset buffet of barbecue favorites including baby back ribs, tomahawk steaks, brisket, Nashville hot soft shell crab, and other goodies in the Windsor Garden adjacent to his restaurant, Southern Art and Bourbon Bar. Beers will be provided by SweetWater Brewing Company and cocktails will come from Bourbon Bar. There will also be a chef meet-and-greet with Smith, lawn games and live entertainment. Details

Decatur Cemetery Sep. 9, 2017, 6-9 p.m. Decatur’s Dinner Party Decatur has some seriously great grub, and this fifth annual event is designed to celebrate it with a multi-course, family-style meal provided by local distributors and chefs. The event benefits Global Growers, an organization that teaches refugee farmers how to adapt and monetize their skills here in Georgia. Expect dishes from Decatur favorites like Kimball House, Chai Pani, Brick Store, Cakes & Ale, Revival and more, paired with cocktails, wine and local beers from Wild Heaven, Three Taverns and Good Word Brewing. Colony Square Sep. 9, 2017, 6-9 p.m. 1st Annual MAC & Cheese Benefit Colony Square invites guests to chow down on unlimited mac and cheese samples provided by some of Atlanta’s top chefs. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Midtown Assistance Center, an interfaith organization whose mission is to provide emergency assistance for low-income working Atlantans to help prevent local homelessness and hunger during periods of crisis. Tickets include unlimited samples, drink tickets, and various forms of entertainment. Details

Mercedes-Benz Stadium Sep. 9, 2017 12:30-5 p.m. Castleberry Hill Pub Crawl Join Atlanta Sport and Social Club and Atlanta United FC for the inaugural Castleberry Hill Pub Crawl, Atlanta United Edition. Get a sneak peek at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium and crawl your way through the surrounding neighborhood bars and restaurants.
