SEE & DO: Atlanta Moon Ride

Cycle through six miles of the city after nightfall

<span class=”s1 </p><span class=”s1 Trade car for bike as Atlanta’s busiest streets shut down for the fifth annual Atlanta Moon Ride. Cyclists of all levels can breeze through six miles of the city’s coolest neighborhoods long after nightfall. Start off in Piedmont Park before setting off to Virginia-Highland, Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward and more. Participants are invited to show up early for a pre-party to fuel up from the Atlanta’s favorite food trucks and listen to ’80s throwback tunes from Electric Avenue. Get creative with a costume to compete for a three-night stay on the beautiful beaches of the Florida Panhandle. All proceeds benefit Bert’s Big Adventure, a nonprofit that sends children facing chronic and terminal illnesses to Disney World, the most magical place on earth. $35-$95.
