Demetri Martin can do a lot of damage with very few words (or no words at all). The clever-as-all-hell comedian weaves some of the best one-liner jokes on stage and on the page with his penchant for bits carried out via delightfully minimalist illustrations. Martin mixed his stand-up with sketch on his show “Important Things with Demetri Martin” on Comedy Central where he also spent time as a performer on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” Martin has released two New York Times best-selling books with a third on the way, and stars in the upcoming film Dean, which Martin also wrote and directed. Martin hits Atlanta this weekend as part of his Let’s Get Awkward Tour.

$40. 7:30 p.m. Fri., Nov. 3. Center Stage, 1374 W. Peachtree St. www.centerstage-atlanta.com.
