Georgia attorney general ditches secretary of state’s defense team

The move comes after a server with election data was mysteriously wiped clean

Kemp2ndJoeff Davis/CL fileGeorgia’s attorney general just left Secretary of State Brian Kemp to fend for himself in a lawsuit scrutinizing the state’s arguably-archaic election tech systems, according to the Associated Press.

The lawsuit follows the mysterious wipe of all election-related data in a server that was breached in June, exposing the personal info of millions of Georgia voters.
