Cover Books hosting book launch for celebrity chef Alton Brown
The Atlanta native will celebrate the release of his latest cookbook, ‘EveryDayCook’
As Brown’s first book in five years, EveryDayCook is a collection of more than 100 recipes, along with stunning accompanying photographs, that the author says he cooks and eats on a day-to-day basis — sprinkled in with anecdotes and insights from the talented chef.
“The hope was for the event to be an opportunity for people to hear about the book in a more personal setting than the standard rushed book signing,” Cover Books owner Katie Barringer says. “Because the book itself is so personal to Mr. Brown, this type of intimate interaction makes it all that much more meaningful. Because he is both an Atlanta native and Cover Books customer, the store seemed like an appropriate venue — and we couldn’t agree more.”
