The Decatur Arts Festival returns this Memorial Day weekend, with ArtWalk opening the festival on May 26. The fest features local artists and includes a parade, literary events, comedy, music, dance, as well as a childrenbs art festival. Contribute to the fight against domestic violence by attending YES MAbAM,B a DIY fundraising event taking place Sun., May 28. The art show will be held in the home of local feminists and will feature the works of students and professional artists in Atlanta. Art work will be for sale and donations are encouraged. All proceeds from the event will go to Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV). PADM is the largest nonprofit organization in Georgia fighting to end domestic violence.
