Monday

Red Brick Brewing May 22, 2017, 7-10 p.m. Red Brick Brewing benefit for The Giving Kitchen Want to be filmed eating and drinking for a pilot TV episode for a major cable network? Red Brick Brewing will host an event to benefit local nonprofit The Giving Kitchen featuring beer and a full menu served by Atlanta chef Chip English. $20 of each ticket will support The Giving Kitchen.

RA Sushi May 22, 2017, 2 p.m. to May 28, 2017, 8 p.m. Nickybs Week fundraiser RA Sushi is partnering with St. Jude Childrenbs Research Hospital for their annual Nickybs Week fundraiser. A special fundraising menu including garlic ponzu yellowtail, poke tacos and pork gyoza paired with a Japanese mule cocktail, will be served. 100 percent of the menu proceeds will go to St. Jude’s effort to cure childhood cancers and other life-threatening illnesses.

Le Bilboquet May 22, 2017, 6:30 p.m. Le Bilboquet Sommelier Dinner Series Le Bilboquet hosts a special four-course dinner event, paired with a wine tasting in sommelier tradition. Courses include ahi tuna tartare with potatoes gaufrette, peekytoe crab roll with coconut Thai soup, seared veal sweetbread with fava bean, and for dessert, Georgia wild berries pavlova with lemon sorbet. Each course is paired with hand-selected French and Italian wines. Seating is limited to 16 people, so make your reservations early.

Ponce City Farmers Market May 23, 2017, 4-8 p.m. Honey Bee Day Come to the Ponce City Farmers Market to support Atlanta’s local bee population, an important part of the US Agriculture industry which has been declining rapidly since the 70s. There will be an observation hive provided by Bee Wild Honey, honey tastings and plenty of other family-friendly attractions to enjoy.

Ponce City Market May 23, 2017, 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Ponce City Market Dine Out Ponce City Market is having a Dine Out aiding Community Farmer Markets. On Tues., May 23, 20 percent of sales will benefit Decatur, Grant Park, East Atlanta Village, Ponce City Market, Westside and Fresh MARTA farmers markets. Participating restaurants include Brezza, Botiwalla, El Super Pan, King of Pops, Minero, Saint Germain and Spiller Park.

Book signing begins at 7 p.m. next door at Williams Sonoma and a copy of the book is included in the ticket price.

Arches Brewing May 25, 2017, 4-8 p.m. Beer and Cheese Tasting with Sweet Grass Dairy Sweet Grass Dairy and Arches Brewing are teaming up to host a beer and cheese tasting. Arches will be pairing four of their seasonal beers with Thomasville’s Sweet Grass Dairy handcrafted cheeses.

Cooks and Soldiers May 25, 2017, 6:30 p.m. Drunk Wine School Cooks and Soldiers’ inaugural Drunk Wine School will teach the history of winemaking and basics of viticulture. Accomplished sommelier and general manager Nick Quinones will guide the class through the session and an eight-wine tasting following the class.

SweetWater Brewing Company May 26, 2017, 4:20-7 p.m. I Survived I85 ReOpening Party After a long struggle following the great collapse of I-85, SweetWater and Radio 105.7 will attempt to bring Atlanta’s shell-shocked traffic commuters back together again. The brewery will host a weekend party with food provided by Fox Bros Bar-B-Q, live music from MAGIC GIANT and of course plenty of SweetWater brews. 21+

Orpheus Brewing May 27, 2017, noon to May 29, 2017 5 p.m. Orpheus Brewing Memorial Day Weekend Bash To celebrate its third anniversary, Orpheus Brewing is opening its doors for a three-day holiday weekend extravaganza. Festivities kick off on Sat., May 27. Along with brewery tours and tastings, there will be food trucks and a lineup of new barrel-aged beers. Beer geeks note: There will be a limited number of bottles available of celebration beer.

Gwinnett Place Mall May 27, 2017, noon to May 28, 2017, 11 p.m.B Asian Summer Festival A celebration of Asian history and diversity will be experienced through the traditions, music, food and art from local and national artists with ancestry from all over the Asian continent. The goal of the festival is to strengthen the local Asian economic community, as well as bringing awareness and appreciation for its diverse culture.

Bellina Alimentari May 28, 2017, 5:30-10 p.m. Meet the Farmer DinnerB Georgia-born farmer Charlotte Swancy of Riverview Farms will be at Bellina Alimentari’s the third installment of their Meet the Farmer dinner series. A four-course menu featuring fresh produce from Riverview Farms will be paired with house Italian wines at the Ponce City Market Italian eatery.
