Before the Punchline left Sandy Springs for Buckhead, before there ever was a Laughing Skull Lounge, one of the few places a budding jokesmith could try out jokes on an Atlanta audience, there was Phat Comedy at Twisted Taco. Drew Thomas held the reigns back then as he helped kickstart his and many other stand-up careers. Since, Thomas’s hard work put him on a path to headlining across the country as well as performing on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” The ever-busy Thomas swings by his old Southern stomping grounds again for one night at Relapse Theatre.
