Clown workshop with Mike Funt

Mike Funt’s Clown Intensive allows your clown to burst out of you, to give license to your spontaneous, fearless, and playful self. We explore performance methods that are ancient and modern at once. We pay tribute to everything from indigenous clown rituals to the commedia dell’arte to the great era of the silent film comedians to the clown’s modern-day renaissance on stage, in film, and at the circus.

Atlanta loves brunch, so we are putting together a festival to celebrate some of the best restaurants in the brunch game serving up tasting size portions of the brunch items they do best. We will also feature the brunch beverages we all love – Bloody Marys, Mimosas, beer and wine. Celebrating brunch with some of Atlanta’s best restaurants in the brunch game, and Bloody Marys, mimosas beer, and wine to wash it all down. Live Music and DJ Qtip.

Chicken Pickin’ Brunch with Banjolicious

David Stephens began developing his love of folk music & the 5-string banjo in a coffee shop not far from his hometown of Foley, Alabama. Upon moving to Atlanta in 2004, he met bass player Will Robertson. They both liked each others playing and the formation of Banjolicious soon followed. The duo has been playing around town ever since. Their songs have been featured on BBC and PBS and a Truth anti-smoking national television commercial.
