Dumbfoundead

Born in Argentina, smuggled to Mexico, and finally settling in Los Angeles’ Koreatown, it is safe to say there is no rapper quite like Dumbfoundead. Since his introduction to hip-hop in the 1990s, Dumbfoundead, born Jonathan Edgar Park, has been known for his nearly unmatched prowess in rap battles, and his subtle yet sharp comedic undertones. However, there is more to Dumbfoundead than just being funny and quick-witted, as messages about inequality and discrimination guide songs such as “Safe,” “Kill Me,” and “Harambe.” Dumbfoundead is currently touring in support of his Rocket Man EP, and is slated to play Heaven at the Masquerade on Friday the 13th with support from fellow Asian-American rappers Year of the Ox, as well as Nafla, Isaac Flame, and DJ ZO.
