Brookhaven approves scooters

The City of Brookhaven passed an ordinance allowing scooter companies to operate in its jurisdiction. The AJC reports the City allows each of the scooter companies to operate 50 scooters within the Brookhaven city limits.
While the scooters are controversial, the City is bowing to people’s changing preference of transportation modes by granting the permits.
